can i use water out my tap or does it have to be dionised water to top up my motorbikes battery and if so whats the diffrence and where can i get it, thank you.
You do not want the mineral in the tap water in the battery.
Distilled water is OK and you get that by buying it or letting a jar of water sit for a few days. Otherwise boil and capture the steam (distilling). If the battery is really old tap water
its been left for 5 months and ive finally gotten around to attempting to fix it. i bought a new battery and went to start it, it turned over and then i stopped. During the mad ride last year my bike failed to start, power was down, so i had to push start it. and i did so for a while. tried again and it sound like the battery was dead. before the mad ride last year the bike would star as normal.
