The crash happened just before 2pm yesterday where Shelton Old Road meets Stoke Road, over the A500 in Stoke. Commercial director Paul De Santis said: "The bus was crossing the lights at the top of the slip road travelling towards Hanley and the lorry was coming up the slip road. THREE people were taken to hospital after a bus and lorry collided at a busy crossroads. An investigation will now be launched by bus operator First Bus. "We know there was at least one other passenger who got off the bus but this person left after giving a statement to police and was not on the scene when we arrived. It left the driver and two passengers with neck and back pain, while two other people were treated at the scene. By hayley harp hayley....

Man dies in Co Cavan lorry crash
At about 9.20am, an articulated lorry left the road on the R199 Crossdoney to Killeshandra Road at Drummora, Crossdoney, and hit a ditch. The driver, a man in his late 30s, died at the scne. The road is closed, and diversions are in place.
