Does the European Union have as National anthem? i was just wandering, because it has a flag, currency, laws and stuff already. Whats the National anthem called?

When we stand in front of our flag and sing our national anthem to pay homage to our country, what are we really doing. While this practice is certainly not going away any time soon, it is worth taking a step back and thinking about what it means to be living in this world of armies, borders, flags and anthems. The idea of a border is the same as a partition – and it serves two purposes: to keep something in while keeping something else out. After the fall of Rome, and with these systems in place, the world gradually constructed more intricate ways of enforcing border control and immigration until we wound up with the world we have today.
