How do I secure and tow a car on a car hauler trailer?

I am towing a 1995 Geo Tracker from mobile, al to south louisiana 140 miles.. I have a car hauler trailer, I cannot afford all of the expensive accessories to tie it down etc. I do have some straps with the Fasteners (clicky thingys) What precausions

I would go to harbor freight and go to the towing aisle and find yourself the over tire tie down straps for your size tire and by two one for right front ( and hook it pulling forward ) and one for left rear (hook this one pulling rear ward) then use
