It made me sad that I didn't have Boomer any more, but it also made me want a new collector car. It was only a year ago that I had to sell my 1978 Volkswagen Bus "Boomer" and these shows were so fun to take Boomer. I convince everyone that the rain is not that bad and we head out for the car show. I had high hopes of taking Dad to the car show and told them that it would be OK and the rain would lift. I get everyone up dressed and full of coffee and it is still raining. I got my apples, plums and grapes and then went back through the car show again. The moment we sat in the car, I knew that I lost the fight and conceded the battle to mother nature....
