Is the 2009 BMW G450X worth buying?

I'm wanting to get into dual sport riding, I've looked into various bikes (The Honda XR650L, The Suzuki DR650, DRZ-400) but I recently took a trip to my local BMW dealership and saw and took a test ride of the '09 G450X, I was incredibly impressed.

BMW 450s limited market versions of 650s. Some places have engine size or power classes, taxes, or maybe fuel availability that make the smaller engine version marketable. I have had some BMW old twins- the r50/2 and R69 basic same except for engine

BMW G450X Wheel Kit???

I was at a local BMW dealership and I took a quick look at a G450X, thereafter, I looked at the BMW website only to find an incentive that's being offered that the folks at the dealership didn't have a clue about (in fairness. Anyway, as one of the incentives you can receive a "wheel kit" and I've sort of found out that it's a 17" kit minus tires, meaning, you can turn your G450X into a SM. Question. this is a Harley dealership and they just bought the local BMW guy's stuff/dealership). The G450X is absolutely on par with the japs or better. BMW makes tanks of bikes man, seriously. I've worked on them and talked to quite a few BMW mechanics. I am in the process of buying a SM bike and yet another possibility has entered the picture....
