About how many miles will a BMW F650GS get before it dies?

I'm looking into getting a 1999 BMW F650GS and it's got about 39400 miles on it. How well do you think it'll keep running? As well as what are your opinions on the 1999 650? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I still remember the first of the modern Triumph Tigers, introduced in 1993 and riding into the sunset five years later. It delivered a characterful alternative to BMW's GS models, but wasn't without its flaws &ndash. The new brace of Tigers that joins the 1050 in this year's lineup goes back to basics, albeit with a more user-friendly format, although one is a tad more dirtable than the other. Although the bore remains 74mm, the piston travels further, and much of the engine that surrounds it has changed. Successors used a 995cc and then 1050cc engine, taking the bike further into touring territory, and away from any semblance of a dual-purpose machine.
