Hans and Fritz Schlumpf [1950] had an obsession with cars, mainly Bugatti. There is now a museum full of their collection, which was often referred to as "The Schlumpf Obsession". I am a Schlumpf and I dont know much about my heratige so I would

Thirteen classic, photogenic woodies — technically, wood-bodied station wagons before the nickname was coined by California surfer dudes and dudettes — are parked on the floor of the Saratoga Automobile Museum, in an exhibition titled “Woodies. In a museum press release, he said: “I leave wood refinishing to the experts. Of course, cars made of wood date back a century or more, but the beauties on display here — on loan from the collectors Charlie and Marie Montano, of Gloversville, N. Y. — are all from the 1940s and ’50s. The woodie, celebrated in song and story and a car that exemplified the expression “fragile beauty,” had a production history that spanned not much more than a decade, but left a legacy that qualifies the species as an American automotive... Montano, who declined to be interviewed, runs a body shop. My best-of-show candidate at Saratoga was the 1953 Roadmaster Model 79R, powered by Buick’s “Nailhead” V-8 and finished in gorgeous white ash and mahogany....
