Agenda externa presidencial: auspicioso debut
La política debería ser capaz de profundizar simultáneamente la asociación estratégica y de replantear amigablemente los términos de la integración energética. La cumbre que se realizará en Lima el 28 de julio será una extraordinaria coyuntura para una consolidación del diálogo regional que se fue adelantando en las reuniones bilaterales. En ese sentido, la declaración que saldrá sobre integración regional y los temas de la desigualdad social y la exclusión marcan dos puntos centrales de agenda. El desafío es cómo llevar al máximo ese vínculo, de forma tal que sea mutuamente beneficioso, y que el Perú defina las políticas necesarias y suficientes para expandir nuestras exportaciones, darles mayor valor agregado, desarrollar la integración... Ha ratificado la prioridad de las relaciones vecinales y la vocación de integración regional sudamericana. Fue simbólico que el primer país de destino haya sido Brasil. Reafirma especialmente el rol de Unasur, en la que coexistimos países con diferentes estrategias de desarrollo y de inserción internacional.
